The Epsilon Tau chapter of Kappa Psi was founded on March 3, 2012. Founding members include Jenny Allen, Saeed Alzghari, Khumphan Amaratana, Penny Calais, Jamie Dibello, Na Hoang, Jessica Hunter, Cindy Huynh, Nisha Koshy, Mishna Joy, Adrienne Monroe, Dipal Patel, Rashmi Singh, Miranda Smith, Brittany Speed, Cody Wimberley, and Megan Young, along with Graduate member Michelle Jernigan. Executive Director Johnny Porter, past Grand Regent Kali Weaver, and Brothers from Delta Pi and Epsilon Beta were in attendance. The chapter has nearly doubled in size in the span of one year and hopes to continue to grow. Brothers of Epsilon Tau chapter have initiated an annual health fair for the community and provides testing and information on diabetes and hypertension. In addition, the chapter has begun the tradition of providing a January Welcome Back luncheon for both TTUHSC pharmacy and nursing students in an effort to promote interprofessionalism. Numerous social events have also taken place, including bowling, laser tag, game night, t-shirt making, minute-to-win-it games, and multiple pot-luck dinners. Brothers not only have fun but stay involved as well – ET boasts members in Double T, APhA-ASP, SNPhA, Rho Chi, Phi Lambda Sigma, CPFI, and TPA. The unofficial mascot of Epsilon Tau is E.T. the extra-terrestrial.
