Kappa Psi is the largest and oldest Pharmaceutical Fraternity. Epsilon Tau is the Texas Tech School of Pharmacy Abilene chapter of Kappa Psi founded on March 3rd, 2012. Founding members include Jenny Allen, Saeed Alzghari, Khumphan Amaratana, Penny Calais, Jamie Dibello, Na Hoang, Jessica Hunter, Cindy Huynh, Nisha Koshy, Mishna Joy, Adrienne Monroe, Dipal Patel, Rashmi Singh, Miranda Smith, Brittany Speed, Cody Wimberley, and Megan Young, along with Graduate member Michelle Jernigan. Executive Director Johnny Porter, past Grand Regent Kali Weaver, and Brothers from Delta Pi and Epsilon Beta were in attendance.
The chapter has nearly doubled in size in the span of one year and hopes to continue its growth. Brothers of Epsilon Tau chapter hold annual philanthropy events and health fairs for the community by providing screenings and health education. The chapter is also involved in other organization events like Double T, APhA, SNPhA, Rho Chi, Phi Lambda Sigma, CPFI, and TPA. In addition to contributing to the community, Brothers of the Epsilon Tau chapter host numerous social events to enhance fellowship through bowling, laser tag, game nights, minute-to-win-it games, and pot-luck dinners. As we continue implementing ideas to make our mark on society and to impact fellow students, we seek to further expand our organization to best accomplish our visions and goals as a Brotherhood.
